The LAUNCH.ed Innovation Cup is a business competition for researchers, students, and graduates of the University of Edinburgh with research- or technology-based business ideas or young business ventures.

The winner receives £5000 cash. In addition, the winner and runners-up are invited to apply for the LAUNCH.ed Acceleration Pipeline, a year-long award winning business support programme for University of Edinburgh businesses with high-growth potential. Companies on the Acceleration Pipeline may apply for up to £5000 in addition business funding (conditions apply).

All entries must be submitted to and received by Paul.Devlin@ed.ac.uk by 9:00am on Friday, 25th May 2012.

Shortlisted finalists will be notified on Friday, 1st June 2012. The finalists will then have 2 weeks to prepare a 10-minute pitch to present to a panel of expert, independent judges on Friday, 15th June 2012 at the Innovation Cup Finals. After the pitches, stick around for an informal BBQ and networking event.
