We’re delighted to congratulate Cameron McNatt and Chris Retzler on the acceptance of their business ‘Mocean Energy’ into the highly selective Low Carbon Ideas Lab, at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI).

Cameron was a finalist in Launch.ed’s annual showcase ‘Inspire Launch Grow’ in 2016, which celebrates the exceptional entrepreneurial talent within the University of Edinburgh. ‘Mocean Energy’ brings a scaled-down approach to marine energy production; instead of building devices that would link up to the grid right away, they are first developing smaller-scale projects to supply energy to sea-based installations such as oil rigs and offshore aquaculture. We’re not at all surprised to see his business going from strength to strength, and look forward to hearing of its continued success.

Cameron has benefited from much business advice and investment from Enterprise Campus, and from Launch.ed’s support in obtaining a Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa. Find out how we can support you to launch and grow your own company by checking out our services.
